"Brown Eyes are Boring"

          The other day I asked my brown-eyes South Asian friend about her green coloured contact lenses. She's been wearing them ever since the beginning of high school and is used to having them on, but yet she complains often about their discomfort. "Why not just leave them out for one day and wear your glasses instead?" I asked her. She rolled her eyes and sighed, "Because brown eyes are, like, so boring."

          I was a little confused about her reply because I don't see how eyes can be boring. I can imagine a boring movie, a boring book, even a "boring" outfit, but eyes? I don't get it. If a beautiful woman walks into a room with her sunglasses on, will you not notice? If she takes those sunglasses off and reveals two big brown eyes, will you yawn and suddenly look away?

I think we can all agree that brown is just as beautiful as any other eye colour.
